Early Childhood Education

Our early childhood education program is designed to teach students aspects of teaching and working with young children, from birth through elementary school age. Students explore career pathways and develop the characteristics of successful teachers and childcare providers through practicums and other hands-on learning opportunities. By applying theoretical concepts to real-life situations, students learn how to meet the developmental needs and interests of young children.

Students in our program have the opportunity to earn their Child Development Associate Credential, the most widely recognized credential in early childhood education and the key stepping stone of career advancement in ECE.
