Pennsylvania utilizes two methods for measuring the occupational competency of career and technical education students—testing from the National Occupancy Competency Testing Institute (NOCTI) and the National Institute of Metalworking Skills (NIMS).
At Seneca Highlands CTC, our job-ready tests measure student knowledge of the basic skill processes needed for success on the job. It includes safety measures as well as the identification and use of industry terminology and tools.
