On Friday, November 21, our students had the incredible opportunity to hear from Cleveland Brothers/CAT representatives Joe Huerbin, William Clayson, and Cole Szuba.
Cleveland Brothers is a fourth-generation, family-owned company and one of the top ten CAT dealers in North America. With 75+ years in business, 301 locations, 1,400+ employees, and over 600 skilled technicians, they are a major force in the skilled trades industry.
A special highlight: Cole Szuba shared his experience being accepted into—and graduating from—the Cleveland Brothers Apprenticeship Program this November. His story gave students a firsthand look at what dedication, training, and hard work can produce in this career field.
Students also learned about:
- High-demand careers in diesel tech, heavy equipment, welding & more
- Apprenticeships, training paths, and advancement opportunities
- Caterpillar’s global impact—serving 191 countries and owning 26 major brands
- What employers look for in today’s workforce
Caterpillar remains the world’s largest manufacturer of construction equipment and industrial engines—and our students got an inside look at what it takes to join this world-class industry.
A huge thank you to Joe, William, and Cole for inspiring our future technicians and industry leaders!
