We are pleased to recognize John Mix from Oswayo Valley High School as our student of the week! John has been a dedicated member of Mr. Finch’s building construction occupations class at Seneca Highlands Career and Technical Center for three years, where he has consistently demonstrated hard work, a positive attitude, and exceptional focus.
John is well-liked by his peers and teachers alike, and he consistently goes above and beyond in his efforts. He is known for his attentiveness in class and his willingness to tackle any challenge that comes his way. He has been selected to participate in The Potter County Youth Leadership Program and has elected to attend the dual-enrollment psychology class offered at Seneca Highlands Career and Technical Center.
Beyond his academic achievements, John has actively participated in sports throughout his school years. This combination of academic and athletic commitment showcases his well-rounded character and strong work ethic.
Looking ahead, John has set his sights on either attending a trade school or entering the workforce to pursue a career in the construction industry. His determination and drive will undoubtedly lead him to success in this field.
